I am really enjoying playing “dress up” in my online workshop. I went to the local thrift store and purchased (for fifty cents!) a tiny handmade baby dress! Such good fortune. Then I let it soak for two days in bleach water. This weekend I will be sanding, fraying and generally “distressing” it. I have decided to create handmade wire wings for her to hang upon. It’s lovely to be able to watch bits of the class, get inspired, walk away and come back. I received this course as a gift. I also am working with Stephanie Lee’s Book Semiprecious Salvage and excited to find the time to play with some metal. I am partial to copper so I’ll see where that goes. My Etsy shop was featured in Undiscovered Finds/Storque and I have had over two thousand views! No sales yet, I know it will happen when the time is right. Have a great day.
